Maria
Romano was born in Naples, Italy, in 1969.
In 1996 she worked for the Italian Formation Institute as
teacher of PC basic use.
On November 2000 she took the degree in Electronic Engineering
at the University "Federico II" of Naples, with
grades 110/110, discussing the degree thesis "Cardiotocographic
signal processing in frequency domain".
From February to April 2001 she worked as scientific collaborator
in the framework of a research about telematic cardiotocography
at the Biomedical Engineering Unit of the Dept. of Electronic
Engineering and Telecommunications of the University "Federico
II" of Naples.
Since January 2001 she is PhD student in Bioengineering
at the Biomedical Engineering Unit of Naples.
In June 2001 she participated at the IX Mediterranean Conference
on Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing MEDICON
2001-Pula, Croatia. June 12-15, 2001.
