This work has been developed in the framework of sub project 4 "Telemedicine for emergency" within the G7 Program. The project aims to create a cardiological and radiological teleconsulting system to connect the little islands of Procida and Ischia to main hospitals considered excellence centres (or sites). This is a very important aspect because the islands of Procida and Ischia are well know touristic places in South Italy and the number of residents (e.g. 6.000 persons for Procida) becomes ten-twenty times more during summertime. In particular Procida does not have an hospital, but only a very simple and small ambulatory service that is certainly undersized during summer and unsuited for specialistic controls.
